Our KICKSTARTER to cover the Orlando and Dayton Hamfests has been approved... not FUNDED yet, but we can get started. And now we get started beating the drum (as much as we ever do). The link is on http://HamRadioNow.tv.
Then Jeff and Gary review another one of those "Intro to Ham Radio" videos, this one called "Discover Amateur Radio." Alas, they find it falls for most of the usual traps - the Fire Hose syndrome, too much jargon, too much of the esoteric stuff and not enough "regular hamming," and so on. And they agree that hams will love it, but the intended audience - people who might be hams but aren't now - probably won't.
Then Gary has some Youtube tips and tricks, and gets to show off his SoundPop Bluetooth speaker, and gets caught using unlicensed music on YouTube!
