I short video showing the location and stations used for this year's Jamboree On The Air with local Boy Scouts - October 20-21, 2012. The location is part of Camp Evans, which used to be part of the US Army's Fort Monmouth in NJ, USA. We had approximately 50 scouts on-site during the course of the weekend. About 30 of these scouts camped out on the site on Saturday night. We had four operational stations that were used to put the scouts on the air with other scouts and hams around the world. The location is now managed by a non-profit group that is preserving the history of this national landmark (both the "Diana site" in the video, and the main Camp Evans / Marconi site which is not shown), called InfoAge (http://www.infoage.org). They have done a great job preserving the rich wireless/radar/sigint/etc. history of this site through various museums and exhibits. The Ocean Monmouth Amateur Radio Club and the Ft. Monmouth Amateur Radio club are very honored to be housed at the site shown in the video (http://www.omarc.org). During the JOTA event, we used both the OMARC callsign (N2MO) and the Ft. Monmouth ARC call sign (K2USA). The scouts had a great time and made contacts in several countries around the world.
