Short video of my newly acquired TS-940SAT.Was wanting to test the RX capabilities, so I hooked up an old CB antenna (HA), stuck it in the house, and chose a station that would be a little out of reach for it.So, this is a futile attempt to pick up NHK Radio Japan on 9.84MHz, broadcasting out of Hawaii. Indoors, with a magnetic mount CB antenna from the 70's.Honestly, it's a bit better than I expected. For a few seconds, you can clearly hear it come in. The rest is pretty much noise and more futility attempting to clean up the signal.So, living near the east coast trying to pick up Hawaii, with a CB antenna indoors... not to bad. It might even be intelligible on "perfect days". I won't push it.Later, I'll put up a video of my gripes with Canada relaying NHK lately. They have tended to cut off the station identifier music at the beginning of key-up, and cut a lot out of the end when they key-off.
