| Here is the description from when I bought it in mid-July 2017. The Icom IC-737A is very similar to the IC-737, but adds VOX function. This all band transceiver also features a 500 kHz to 30 MHz general coverage receiver with a beautiful backlit LCD display. The 737A has a built-in automatic antenna tuner. Enjoy 10 to 100 watts full duty RF output SSB/CW/FM (40W AM). For CW operators full and semi break-in is supported. The double band stacking register stores 2 frequencies along with modes in each band so it can be used like 2 VFO's in one band. Ten electronic 'memo pads' are available for DX hunting or contests. Other enhancements include: keypad entry, PBT, Notch, RIT, XIT and 10 Hz tuning resolution. 13 x 4.4 x 11.2 inches 17.9 lbs. (330x111x285mm 8.1 kg). This Icom IC-737A has been thoroughly tested by a technician at an amateur radio equipment shop ans it works great and at full power. (I can confirm it powers on and receives, I dont have a mic for it to test out its transmit abilities) The minor issue is that the big tuning knob is a little stiff when turned. the rig looks great with minor signs of wear but no damage and works great especially with a good antenna. It includes the tilt bail, carry handle, rubber legs, a high quality fused DC power cable, the original Instruction Manual, an original jumbo schematic diagram, the original brochure and a CD with manual, also including the Service Manual. | |
