• Install Yaesu ATAS 120A Ham Radio Screwdriver Antenna

This video covers basic over all install of a Yaesu ATAS 120a screwdriver antenna with Comet HD-5M (RS-840) antenna mount on a 2011 Nissan Xterra with an already installed Yaesu FT-857 Multiband Radio. This Antenna gets average reviews, but I like to see for my self. My friend had one for 5 years before issues occurred. For an antenna exposed to harsh extreme hot, humid, corrosive ocean type environment that's not bad. I do not recommend this antenna if you are perusing volunteer work with MARS (Military Amateur Radio Service) as it will not tune below 40m. In that case maybe the FC-40 or FC-30 tuners with whip antenna will better suit your needs.
