HAROA Hellenic Amateur Radio Group QRV from OC-037:ZL9HR - Campbell Island New Zealand DXpedition 2012 Amateurs get very excited when they have a chance to work a very rare station like this.The DXpedition is working SPLIT (2 frequencies at once) I switch between the 2 frequencies starting at 7185Khz is ZL9HR, then as I sweep the VFO up and down the band you can hear stations calling and working ZL9HR Campbell Island. How I hear it from this side of the globe.There was a good opening on 40m tonight so I caught some of the action using my phone - I am located in Sydney. Antenna is 80m OCF @ 50ft IC7000 100w.The Hellenic Amateur Radio of Association of Australia (HARAOA) currently on a DXpedition to ZL9 Campbell Island (OC-037) New Zealand between November 28th and December 9th 2012.ZL9 Campbell Island NZ is Number 15 on the current DXCC most wanted list.The Landing Permit has been approved.More information at www.zl9hr.com
