Every year...Amateur Radio Operators go into the field and setup up operating stations on numerous Ham Radio bands. They then power these stations by any other means other than Electric Companies power (Grid). Then the fun starts as they compete in a 24 hour Contest contacting as many stations as they can. This is a short video of some of the setup and operation of this event at the NARC - Nassau Amateur Radio Clubs Baldwin, NY Field Day site. The "Big Gun" in the Hudson Division...73 and Enjoy!
