*** SK5A IS A SWEDISH CONTEST STATION LOCATED IN THE LAKE MALAREN REGION ***

Lake Malaren DX Group, LMDXG, was founded early 2008 by Bertil/SM5IZS, Mike/SM5WPW and Pete/SM5GMZ to primarily promote activities related to amateur radio, and especially to DX and Contesting. The club station - SK5A - is situated in the countryside, in the northern part of the Lake Malaren region, just outside Sweden's capital Stockholm. Even though Lake Malaren DX Group is open for membership to all licenced radio amateurs worldwide, the organization's committee evaluates every single application utterly to make sure that any new member can and will contribute positively to the organization's goals: to strive for the highest possible standards when coming to DX and Contesting. As of today, LMDXG has three honorary members: Hawk/SM5AQD, Jan/SM5FQQ and SM5XW/Goran.
