Biography

LB8OH got his License in 2017 after many years as SWL and also being active on 11m as 2oTP03 (Tartan Pirate DX-Club)
Due to a strong tinnitus I prefer digimodes. With all my intern QRM it is often very hard to copy things like callsigns, etc. On good days and with good conditions I'm also using my radioes for talking. DMR is fantastic for me - sound quality is fantastic.

My QTH is on the western part of Norway. Typical Norwegian nature, With tall mountains around me everywhere. So my signals has only one option: up and away. Grid JP20vl
My cabin in the Norwegian highlands with grid JP40oe is a fantastic QTH,- with ZERO noise. Powered by solar cells and upconverter.
My other cabin by the sea has more noise, but I'm also running some radio from there. Also doing some radio mobile and portable. Schrewdriver antenna, dipole and also a military mobile antenna.

I do love my hobby.

Keeps my head active and is a real timekiller.

QSL-Cards and also SWL-reports are welcome. My Cards are printed in Ukraina. Thanks Gennady!
