Biography
Hello and thanks for stopping by.
Until September 2010 my callsign was YO3FXL and I will keep replying to QSLs for QSOs under that callsign.
Please, also visit my QRZ.com page: https://www.qrz.com/db/YO3DS
I earn my living as an IT guy working for an oil company.
I became interested in radio since early childhood and got my SWL callsign in 1976. A couple of years later earned my transmitting privileges.
I enjoy DX-ing but I also like a good rag chewing with my buddies or on the air occasional acquaintance. I am on the air almost daily, starting at 16:00 UTC on 80m and 20m bands, depending on the season and propagation. On weekends I am just about everywhere.
One more thing, if you work YO3DS, for a minimum courtesy that actually defines the ham spirit, please give it a little more than "...5nn. . . 5nn. . . .73. . . . tu. . . qrz?" kinda QSO. Thanks.
