Biography

This station is on Camano Island, WA. Camano Island is located approximately 50 miles north of Seattle, Washington. It is surrounded by the Puget Sound, but does not require a ferry to gain access. A small bridge separates the mainland from the island. The closest distance from the tower to salt water is about 600 feet, which is towards Europe. QTH is somewhat unique in that it is bluff property overlooking the Puget Sound. The main tower sits at the top of bluff, which is approximately 180 feet (56 meters) above the sea .

I love to receive QSL cards. I respond 100%. I prefer to QSL via Direct or Buro. I upload all calls to LOTW, but a paper QSL card is also appreciated! If you send direct to me, no return postage is required for you! I will return QSL direct back to you. If you use OQRS the cost is $2 USD. USA hams can QSL direct with a SASE. If your QRZ page says QSL via Buro I will be sending you a QSL via buro. I send my cards directly to many Dx Bureaus, so you should receive it much faster than from most USA hams! I send directly to JARL every month!

I have been a ham for over 44 years and have 319 DXCC confirmed. I love all sports especially soccer, football, F1 racing and golf.

Thank you for visiting my page. I hope to hear you on the bands soon!

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
