Biography

Born Erie, PA 1948. Parents George and Arlene. Three brothers. Left home in 1966 for the US Air Force. Stationed at: Goose AB Canada, Pease AFB NH, Eglin AFB FL, Ubon AB Thailand, Nellis AFB NV, Takli AB Thailand, Plattsburgh AFB NY, Hahn AB Germany, Lakenheath AB UK, Offut AFB NE, FE Warren AFB WY, and Travis AFB CA. Worked HC-130, AC130A, HH-43, HH-53, HH-3, F-111A, FB-111 aircraft. Retired 1987. Worked since 1988 for Federal Aviation Admin. as an Airway Facility Specialist. maintaining ILS, Navaids and Comm equipment. Retired 2008.

Family consists of wife Paulette, a sweet lady, hope to last forever, daughters Dianna, Rosemarie, and Theresa, Son Michael, and stepson Paul. Grandsons Bradley, Cameron and Nikolas. Grandaughters Laila, Jade, Cheyenne, Jewel, Victoria, Camille and Marium.

Hobbies include Amateur radio, camping, computers and building models. Was first licensed 1984 as KA7VFM in Cheyenne WY. Then upgraded to Tech plus as N5LDL in Austin TX. Changed call to N3GAF after moving to Erie PA. Upgraded to General and changed to vanity call in NNY. I do LoTW & QSL. Now touring the US, seeing new things.
