Biography
Licensed in 1952 as K6ADN by a real "downtown" FCC examiner. First rig was homebrew 6L6 with a BC454 reciever.
Went from the hobby to electrical engineering. This led to marketing and management positions in semiconductor test / production equipment companies.
As a ham, I was re-licensed in 1987 as NZ7E. Became W7CY in 1996. DX callsigns include CN5RM, C56RM, 9G5/NZ7E, UA3/NZ7E, JT1/NZ7E and ZK1RM. Have been guest operator at R3A and BY1PK.
I enjoy station building and DX'ing. Other hobbies include Landscaping, cats, physics and correcting misunderstandings about the universe.
