Biography

have been a ham since 1970. I just retired as a community college instructor as of May 2009. I enjoy rag chewing with other ham radio operators. I like to operate cw though most of my operating of late has been on SSB. During the lull of this sunspot cycle has allowed me to gain renewed interest in 40m and 160m. I do readily admit that my favorite band is 17m. I have confirmed over 100 countries on all bands from 10m to 80m including the WARC Bands. I am currently in the process of completing DXCC on PSK31 and RTTY. I do not discriminate-I love most activities related to amateur radio. I hope to work you all soon I QSL 100%.

Equipment

The current station consists of a Kenwood TS-2000 Kenwood and a Icom-725. I have 2 amps-a Drake L4 and a RM Italy HLA-300 solid state amplifier. My current antennas are a Mosley Classic 33 at 45 feet for 10, 15, and 20M and a W5GI Mystery Antenna for the remainder of the hf bands.
