Biography

Hello, my name is Ian. I am male, born in 1955 and a new comer to this Hobby.

QTH is about 22 km East of Perth. I spend most of my time in Amateur Radio trying to catch the elusive DX on HF. I live in a suburban block, so my antennas are made accordingly.

I have only been fully licensed since mid 2014, so I am a beginner at AR. I have got my DXCC on 20m phone and all band digital.

QSL via eQSL, LOTW and the Bureau. If you want QSL direct, then $3 US will do it. Postage from Australia is currently $2.75 Australian.

Cheers

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

HF radios - 4
VHF/ UHF radios - 1 and a Chinese H/T
Antennae - Yagi Tri-bander, DEZ for 40m. 80mOCF, Vertical all 80 and 40m groundplane and20m Vertical dipole.

A single colinear 2m antenna on top of the very low mast.

So you can see where my interest is!.
