Biography

Particular interest in equipment configuration and modes for man portable field operation - off grid, with an emphasis on digital modes (especially ft8 & JS8Call) for communication capability off grid. Interested in exploring and testing the boundaries of low power field communications in remote jungle/rainforest environments. Also SOTA.

I enjoy the thrill of working DX with 5W and a resonant antenna.

Happy to stop and chat with anybody on JS8.

Experimenting with Winlink mail using ARDOP on Raspberry Pi. Keen to set up a HF Winlink gateway.
