Biography
G'day.
I have finally obtained my ticket in March 2007 after intending to get it for the last 30 years (since using the high school club station). I work in the computing/networking area and electronics has been a hobby since I was a teenager.
I have an interest in programming and digital processing (and building things using this technology) as well as homebrewing in general.
I also enjoy travelling around Australia with my wife and 2 boys (in our 4x4 camping at every opportunity) and amateur radio has become part of this pastime using an IC-7000 and a FT-897D.
Currently setting up for some of the higher bands (23 and 13cm completed so far) and also installing a satellite tracking rotator with a 2M and 70cm circular polarised Yagi.
I also have the callsign VK3GRS.
