Biography

Hello,
I like all forms of amateur radio from portable operation,building antennas,space communication,MW dx,radio scanning,aviation and DMR. I am active on 10 , 6 metres and satellites but listen to most other bands from 160 though to 70 cm.

Equipment

I have an FT857 for base and portable operation, an FT8000 for vhf and uhf, VX3 for pedestrian mobile a TYT MD 380 and dongle for DMR and
I use a BCD 396 and an icom ICR 30 to receive vhf and uhf. I also have an RSP2 DX sdr.
I am at present using a full wave 80 delta loop and a mystery dipole on hf and on vhf and uhf I have jpoles a discone and a halo antenna.
