The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) released the brand new 2 x 1 Australian contest call signs on 13 October 2021.
The contest call sign template comprises the VK, VJ or VL prefix followed by one number then one letter.
VJ, VK & VL Contest Only
Special 2x1 call signs with the prefixes of 'VJ', 'VK' and 'VL'. These 2x1 call signs may ONLY be used during contests. Application process for these call signs opened October 13th 2021.
