Biography

Hi and thanks for looking up my call sign.

I am mostly on HF but also SWL on LW and MW.
My favorite part, of the diverse hobby we have, is building on my antenna system.
This is an ongoing project and I love trying out various antenna's and this is where I spend most of my time not so much on the air.

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

radio........ :Icom 7610, Icom 705, Kenwood 520se, Hallicrafters SX 62a and an Eddystone S870.
And a SDRPlay RSPdx.
For 2 meters and 70 cm I have an Icom id51a, Icom 2300H but in the shack I use the Icom 705 mostly.
antenna.... :Optibeam 103W for 20, 17 and 15 meters at 15 m agl.
Two vertical loop antenna's. East/west 143 meters and north/south 90 meters circumference respectively.
Also an 8 direction Beverage antenna system in the winter time. The friendly farmer needs his field in the summer but that works out well because I am mostly on the low bands anyway and busy gardening in the summer. I have it set up so that it takes a day to set it up, usually mid-October and take it down in the Spring early March.
Comet GP9N for 2 and 70.

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
