Biography

Earl E. Andrews born in Ottawa 1953 and I worked in Ottawa/Gatineau until 2005 when I took early retirement option and moved up (north and west) to Elliot Lake, Ontario. Elliot Lake is north of Lake Huron (northern shore) by about 20 miles. I experiment with antennas (end fed half waves now) and small transmitting loops. Equipment

IC-718 which is the main rig now, Ten Tec Argonaut 505, 509 and 515, FT301 collection (many parts for the 301); and other rigs and parts rigs. Currently a small 6 foot dia loop for 40/30 meters. I am borrowing it. It really cuts down the man made noise in my city lot location. I also use an end fed quad band antenna that ive modified from LNR precision.
