Biography

I just received this call on April 22 2009 to go along with my original call VE3GNX.

I became a ham in 1994 and have been loving the hobby ever since, thanks to a great bunch of local hams here in Windsor/Amherstburg/Detroit area. The shack setup is, consisting of: TS-850SAT,TS-690SAT,TS-790A,TM-241A, TS-570SG,Icom IC-746 PRO and then of course all of the bits and bobbles that go along with them. Eg: speakers, power supplies, tuners etc. Antenna farm is a DX77 verticle, W2VS/W2VU (Big Signal) trapped dipole, opek 300, DX-50 and a home brew 6 meter beam built by VA3VS ( what a great working hex beam) and a 6 meter Ringo. As you can see I am a bit of Kenwood nut. I can be found on VHF 145.510 simplex, and spend alot of time on 10 and 17 meters when the bands are open and on 20 meter when things are not so hot. I look forward to hearing you on the air. Cheers Don VE3GNX

And as VE3DPJ says my station is always under construction.

Cheers and catch you on the air.

Don VA3EE

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
