Biography

Licensed in 1992 in Montreal as VE2YAK. Also had the call VE2GGQ, which I used for Guides on the Air/Thinking Day on the Air. In 2003 we moved from Quebec to Nova Scotia and I took the call VA1YL. I still participate in Guides on the Air but use my home call VA1YL.
As a member of the IOTA team VE2CWI and the group from Nova Scotia I have also operated as CY9CWI, XJ1CWI, VE9W, VC9W, XJ9CWI, and VC2W. We have also operated as VC1T, VB1M, VC1S, VC1W.

I have been a member of the Canadian Ladies Amateur Radio Association (CLARA) for years, holding several positions.
