Biography

I born in Agrinio, where I live, in 1967. Agrinio is a small city with about 90,000 people located in West Greece. I have studied as Electrical Engineer and I work in my own office. I am married with Gioyli and I have three children: Tzina, Angela and Chris.

I really love ham radio and this is my main hobby after March of 1996 when I passed the examinations and got the call SV1DPI. I like also to collect stamps, make plastic models and taking photos. I am active on CW, RTTY, SSB and all digital modes from 160 to 6 meters (except K1JT modes: ft4/8, jt65 etc.) I enjoy especially the feldhell (FH #918). If you want we can arrange a sked for a feldhell qso. I am also SKCC member and I like operating with a straight key sometimes. I was one of the EP6T (Rockall group Iran DXpedition), operating mainly cw and rtty. I am also member of SZ1A contest team.

I like a lot to collect QSL cards. I always reply 100% all buro cards and SWL reports but you should know that turnaround time is abt 1 year for DL (the best buro), 1-2 years for SP, JA, I, EA, VE3, OK. All others bureaus are very slow and it is needed 3-5 years to receive and reply a card! I reply the direct cards the same day. I use LotW (mainly) and eQSL (occasionally).

See my site http://www.qsl.net/sv1dpi/ , search my log and request your QSL card online. Don't forget that I need your QSL card also. I send a QSL, only if I receive one, so requesting one via OQRS, you will reduce the time to get your QSL.
