Biography

In 2017 call sign RV56GC has been using by Amateur radio operators of Vladimir region in commemoration of the 56th Anniversary of the First Flight into Space by cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin on April`12th,1961. Where at the town of Kirzhach in our region is located Parachute Training Centre, which had provided a pre-flight program for the first Soviet cosmonauts.
One day Yuri Gagarin said that "The Road to Space starts from Kirzhach" and It was very sadden that over here just a few miles away from the Training Centre in 1968 occurred a plane crash that cut this great Earth`s citizen life short.
In 2017, the radio stations of the group ..56GC participates in the diploma programme "The First flight to space." This program provides for the issuance of diplomas and plaques. Program terms and automatic confirmation of QSO are available at: http://56gc.hamlog.ru/
