Today in my shack, there are:

DEGEN DE1125 (for SWL Radio-Broadcasting Station) ;

Belka-DX wo SP (1.5 - 31 MHz) by EU1ME, - https://belrig.by/belka%20dx ;


The CURRENT Aerial is Long Wire formed like INVERTED L,

- 13 meters of wire is HORIZONTAL PART, only 1.5 meter above ground surface,

- 8 meters likes SLOPER WIRE with height above ground surface is about 6.5 meters ;


ANT is manufactured from UTP cat 5E cable;

The TOTAL LENGTH is such as 4 sequentially connected, short-circuited at one end pairs,

i.e. 4 x 2 x (13+8) meter = 8 x 21 meters at all = 168 m !


THE HOT NOTE is that electrical size always shorter than geometrical,
and depends from many factors.

BUT, as seen from experimental practice,

WAVE LENGTHS: 160m (L), 80m (2L), 40m (4L), 20m (8L), 10m (16L)

are naturally shortened lengths with a coefficient from geometrical value 168m. !!!


The MAIN IDEA, about Aerials shortened lengths isn't seemed new.
