Biography

I was born on August 8, 1957 in the city of Varginha, Minas Gerais State, Brazil.

I always liked that everything was related to transmissions and communications, since I was a child.
Whenever I heard the radio transmissions, I was fascinated by everything.

When I was 7 years old, I visited a Corporation Fire Department in the city of São Paulo and there I witnessed for the first time in a transmission line telegraphy (CW).
Since then I became interested in this kind of transmission, and until I began to learn something.

But time passed and I lost touch with people connected to the radio.
Only on May 10, 1999 is that I got into amateur radio and my first callsign was ZZ4PHI.
On November 07, 2002 I did exams for class B and changed my callsign to PY4EP and July 27, 2006 I passed the exams for Class A and I kept the same call.

My station is simple and little , but that gives me much joy.
The exact location of the station is 21.565950 S, 45.433541 W - Grid Locator GG78gk74xe.

Currently my QSO are recorded in the logbook QRZ.com
Please, confirm your there too.

Besides amateur radio, there is also another hobby that I love : riding motorcycle.
In particular I like the off-road mode.
Direct contact with nature makes me feel even more part of it.
Already a long time, for over 30 years, that I participate in enduros and trails.
