Hello, I have been a ham radio since 2011. My first call was PY1NYJ, which I kept until 2019, when I started using PY1OR. I moved to Brasília for professional reasons in 2014, starting to operate PT2DX. During this period I reduced activity due to practical and technical difficulties. I returned to Rio de Janeiro at the end of 2017, but the station remained dismantled until May 2020, following amateur radio only from a distance.

With the restrictions imposed by the fight against COVID-19, I decided to reassemble the station and I have been operating, since then, mainly on FT8.
