Biography

Born the 2nd feb 1952. On my 18th I went to the Belgian Navy where I repared all electronic equipment, especially radio and radar.

I maried my wife Maria the 7th Mai 1976.

After several years on board and in Zeebrugge. I decided to go back to the Royal Technical School in Saffraanberg ST - TRUIDEN where I became a ham in sep 1990 as ON1AYP.
6 months later I had my A-license ON4AYP, I operated also ON4BAF, one of the clubstations of the Belgian Air Force.

Retired from 01 april 2008.

29/05/2001 I changed my callsign to ON6KN (ex ON4AYP).

Also active as 9A/OO6N from 2005 several years on EU-136 Losinj Island.
