Biography

Born 1933 Amsterdam (Netherlands) now retired as electronic technician.National service:1952 - 1954 Belgian Navy as radaroperator.Member of UBA and Belgian Maritime Amateur Radio Society,member number BM102.Also member of OSA amateurradioclub of Antwerp,and UBA national society.I hold DXCC and WAC cw and several maritime awards from BMARS and MF marinefunker.I like to work QRP with small qrp transmitters ,all homemade or small kits like Ten-Tec or Heathkit HW7,HW8 and HW9.I watch the following QRGs:on 14 mhz: 14.052 KHz (calling qrg of navyclubs,using following routine:from 0015 to 0018 passed the hour and 0045 to 0048 passed the hour as used on 500 KHz from coastal and shipboard stations known as "distress frequency".Further calling qrg 14060 KHz for qrp-stations.Cu there.
