Biography

Born in 1962 and SWL since 1975.

My call NL9222 is paid for yearly, just like any other wanting to keep Hamradio alive.
In my spare time i do shortwave listening, Hambands only, some "programming"
[Reverse engineering] like Argo by I2PHD and WOLF by DL4YHF and PC case modding.

Served the military from September 1981 until October 1982 in Holland and Germany.
Married on the 4th of July 1996 and have 2 daughters and 2 granddaughters both born in 2022.
Currently working as a sandblaster since 1991. (allmost done)
Previous jobs i did were:
Gas Pipe layer, Roofer, Wrecker [Oil Rigs, Docks and Ships] and Rammer, all fun jobs,
never at home for about 10 years, no holidays either, now i rest and enjoy Radio after work.

From 1975 until 1985 i used to do RTTY and SSB, This would be boring in 2021.
From 1985 until 1995 i did SSTV only, Where have they all gone as most ops are still alive.
From 1995 until 2005 i did 73, 136, 440 and 472 KHz QRSS, CW and DFCW, Still can do.
From 2007 until present i listen every mode on 2, 4,6 and 8 Meters and HF, Digital or Visual.

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

Several Icom and Alinco radio's and a wellbrook magnetic loop antenna for LF, MF and HF.
A Big wheel for 144 Mhz and a Par Omni loop for 50 Mhz and a ton of splitters,
all very small and simple but it works for me ;-)

Soundcards:
2 * MicrokeyerIII, 2 * MicrokeyerII, 2 * USB Interface III and an older PTC-II Pro.
