Biography

SWL since 1982.

beginning at the secundary high school as operator of school club station PI1GOE in Goes. I soon started SWLíng HAM bands, first with simple Philips tube broadband Rx and a homebrew RX for 20+80m In 1983 the Kenwood R-1000 was purchased which added quickly up my DXCC score on all HF bands.
During my study I had to lower activity a bit, but after finishing that I tried again some more.
After moving to our present qth in 2004 and especially after the restoration of that old farm building (listed) I bought the AR2300 blackbox and became very active Rx-ing VHF as well. A completely new challenge.

Equipment

Rx. 1983-2011 Kenwood R1000 (still on shelf, but not much used anymore due to problems with att box).
2012-2017 AOR ar23000 black box. And TenTec 321
2018 till present: Airspy HF+. Airspy R2 and. Icom R 7000.

Antennas 2018 - present: 15 m wire vertical up in big tree for most HF.

Antennas in the past: 7 elem tribander 2/4/6m by DK7ZB
8 element duobander 4/6m by G0KSC (has probably contributed most in my heard # score in these bands so far).
10 m HB9CV (also performed well on 12m....)
