Biography

Been active Ham since 1961. US Extra Class License since 1977.
Retired since November of 2000. Spent 34 years with telecom company AT&T as microwave radio and fiber optic technician.

Dx'pedition 7O6T in 2012 finally put me at #1 DXCC HR. Now just work DX for fun.
Enjoy contesting, especially CQWW and ARRL DX 'Test.

No computers in shack. Still use handwritten logs and QSL cards.

Equipment

Collins S/Line, 32S-3 transmitter and 75S-3B receiver.
Kenwood TS-830S Icom IC-775DSP and Icom 7300.
Amplifiers are a Collins 30L-1 and a Henry 2KD-5.
Antennas are a 40m dipole and a 15mh ground mounted vertical with an extensive radial system.
