Biography

EQSL and QRZ Is Preferred and Guaranteed

I have two locations Pittsburgh and Lake Tomahawk Ohio.
Spending more time at The Lake due to retirement.

My radio of choice is Yaesu FT-847. A rig packed with possibilities and many hours of excitement. Working 432mhz - 160m including 222mhz and the new 60 meter frequencies. With many Beams, verticles, dipoles and a 530'loop @ 75' for all bands. Advocating reallocation of 40 meters and acquisition of frequency allocation on 600 meters 490 - 510 khz. Acquiring this new allocation benefits experimentation in antenna construction and the study of omni-directional long ground wave and effects of D-Layer Propogation.

Would like the powers to be to consider additional spectrum between 20 and 40 meters for phone, since 30 meters prohibits voice communication. A frequency allocation of 12.5 mhz to 12.8mhz as a new worldwide amature band is worth considering. The allocation is currently assigned for maritime mobile usage, though usage is sporadic.

Lets lobby for new bands as spectrum becomes available !!!

Looking forward to our next QSO.

Till then 73 from EN-90.
