Biography

I never printed any QSL cards in the 30 years of being a ham and never kept a complete log until March 2022 when I started to log QSO's on LoTW after my visit to W1AW and decided to get moving on hf...Wow what a station, everthing will be on LoTW or here at qrz.com  and I think eQSL is active 

Ran over to Newington CT with the Camaro and worked a few stations as W1AW Feb 2022, the station is open for visitors!



My station is defintely not W1AW with 4 towers with monoband beams, but I do have

HF Rig  IC-706 or a IC-745  ---- on a Comet CHA250B verticle (on a 15ft mast), don't knock it.  I have OC, NA, SA, and EU on it as I update this bio this morning on 40 meters and 40 countries all on 100 watts in the past 4 weeks.

You'd be surprised the number of hams working on the railways...

Member of the Bloomington Fire Company Fire and the BFD Police squad since 1977 with 8 years military leave where I was a member of the Silver Spring Community Fire Company while I was on active duty in the navy.   

I lived across the street from the Silver Spring Speedway Mechanicsburg, Pa,  (my 3 call...) There was always a crew on duty for the races.

FT8 working on DXCC FT8 and WAS FT8 now.

My Weather station is on APRS 

Purchased a 2014 Camaro since a deer ran out in front of the 2018 RS... and the first thing on the car was my 2/440 antenna on the back deck and over to field day...got to  run 73     my story in and out quick
