Biography

100% QSL,for LOTW, and for DIRECT QSL, please include (SASE) and correct postage between your location and the U.S Please take note, Postal mail address is P.O. Box 216, and not 31 Duxbury Road.

My location is in a narrow valley, running in a general direction of northwest to southeast, with the hill peaks less than 3/4 of a mile apart.

I enjoy attending ham fests, when time permits. Maybe in a year or two, I'll get another FT-857D for the mobile as well, so I don't have to keep taking my present one back and forth between the truck and home. I also enjoy DX.

Six Club Member #2369, Member of my State's R.A.C.E.S, and a member on my community Volunteer Rescue Squad, with over 20 years of service. I am also active somewhat on the 3905ccn, working on various point awards, WAS and others.

My Friends,

Today is the oldest you’ve ever been, yet the youngest, you’ll ever be. Enjoy this day, and every day, as though they were your first. Happy 2013, and beyond.

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

I operate a Yaesu FT-2000D, a 12 gauge, solid strand random wire, a Mosley CL-33 on a 30 foot tower, and a Cushcraft ATV-5 vertical for 10 through 80 meters, up about 28 feet, mounted on a metal barn roof. A Heathkit SB-200 used with the Cushcraft and Mosley. My microphone is a aviation headset, Softcomm, Model C-60 Silver Edition, and at times I use the standard hand mike as well.

When operating Mobile, I am using my FT-857D, and the ATAS-120A antenna, up to 100 watts, and a Alinco DR-635, that I use for 144 and 440 FM.

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
