Biography

Email me:

mw0gbr@ymail.com

Hi, I'm Gordon, licensed amateur since 1998 whereupon I had the callsign MW1CLS.
In February 2001 I brushed up on my morse (learnt it in the forces as a Radio Operator) and passed the 12wpm test to obtain the callsign MWØGBR.

Presently using 10W of FT8 into a homebrew magnetic loop which is presently in my shack, not a big signal but certainly entertaining.

Equipment

Equipment:

Yaesu FT-857D usually at 10 Watts.
Vertical 40m aerial (homebrew)
Magnetic loop for 17m and 20m
5/8 aerial for 6m, height is 10m AGL

Presently working on a magnetic loop for 40m, maybe 80m too.
