Biography

MS0GFA is our club stn

MM1D is our contest call

i am qsl mngr for both calls

MM1D won first place for scotland in cqww ssb sosb 80m in 2011 ...

14th in the world and 11th in europe...

not a bad effort for a very tired body and a few simple antennas ie a k9ay loop for rx and 1 single homebrew full size vertical with over 100 radials below.. albeit its half way up a hill.... usually id av had my 2.5k feet of beverage for rx but kids storms and other things took it away..

anyway this yr 2013 is going to be a shakeup of stn all antennas hopefully back up 160-6m as gave up 2m 70 cm as a bad joke because of idiots in gm land jamming repeaters n such like

stn rebuild and the dx flowing again

so look out soon hf as we shall return with that boom again 73 all the best for 2013
