Biography

I sat the for the UK foundation License in 2013 and will probably sit the intermediate soon.

I am a member of RAYNET the Radio Amateur Emergency Network, an organisation I believe could be used much more proactively particularly as observers at large in the fight against the UK's problem with homegrown and imported terrorists which we seem to attract and cultivate.

Equipment

Not much in the way of equipment I have 2 Baofeng UV5R HT's and a RACAL PRC/RT320 ex British Army portable(!) HF set.

I currently only have the standard antennas and a roll up 'J pole' for the HT's and the 2.4m whip for the PRC320 but I am working on that, space being the biggest problem.
