It is rotated by a Spid-Rak, Azimuth rotator. The XR6-11 is mounted on a mast, supplied and built by CUG Mast Solutions. The mast is 12 meters high when fully extended. The lower 6 meters is tilted by a winch, and the higher 6 meters is wireless remote controlled, so it can be elevated from in the shack. The outer mast is 90mm x 90mm and the inner section is 80mm x 80mm. The Mast is fully galvanised and is mounted is a sleeve which is concreted into the ground by approximately half a cubic meter of cement sand and gravel. At this point I would like to thank Gary, MM0CUG of CUG MAST SOLUTIONS for installing the mast and the XR6-11 FORCE 12 Antenna. The Antennas are Transmatched by a Palstar AT-2KP. There are also roof mounted verticals, Panorama-Antennas BSV-E3 for 4m and a Watson 2000 vertical for 6m+2m+70cms.
