Biography

Former BBC Broadcast Engineer. Now retired, mending bikes and enjoying radio again.

Equipment

For HF: Kenwood TS590, SB221 Linear, Tokyo HC2000 tuner and Daiwa CN901 feeding Hustler BTV6 plus 40m Long wire. Signalink USB for HF digital comms.
MC90 mic, linked to Studio V3 amp, with various voicing options. BHI Desktop DSP speaker.

For 2m/70cm: Icom IC4100 feeding Diamond V2000 via diplexer, also serves 6m through TS590. Also use ICOM PC link now and then.

Also Kenwood TS520 as off air receiver. Historic receivers RCA AR88 and Eddystone770R, all GWO
