Biography

I have been a Ham since April of 1992 and have reached the level of Amateur Extra Class. I enjoy public service events and weather related events. I have worked 324 countries and have confirmed 320 countries. I mostly stay on SSB and 2-meter FM. I have worked all states on 10-15-20 and 40 meters. I am a member of OMISS #7328. I am a member of the Cradle of the Confederacy Net on 10 meters and have a designation of Major General. My 10X # is 64404 and my VP # is 2840. My Cradle of the Confederacy # is 589LC.
My true love on Amateur Radio will always be DX. I really enjoy talking to other Amateurs all over the world. My most rare contact is North Korea. My HF rig is a Kenwood TS570SG, my VHF/UHF rig is a Kenwood TS-790A and I have too many handie talkies to even mention. I have made all 324 HF contacts on 100 watts or less. My antenna is a Cushcraft A3S up about 43 feet and my VHF/UHV antenna is a Comet GP-9 dualband up about 60 feet. I have a 40 and 75 meter inverted V for those bands. I normally monitor 14.195.00 on SSB if anyone wants to call. 73 to all.
