Biography

St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands is a great place to relax. I have been vacationing
on St. Croix with N3XF and our wives since 2005. W1EQ has joined us for the past few
years, too. I rent George, NP2N's 3 bedroom 3 bath house and ham shack with salt
water pool. A fantastic place to just kick back and have a Cruzan rum drink while
in the pool. The ham bands are always waiting in the NP2N shack. Just add your own
call with portable KP2 for US hams and have fun. The restaurants are the best.
The temps stay in the 80s with a nice breeze and sea is near bath water temperature.

There are other couples living on the property so I always wear a headset to keep
the radio noise local to the ham shack.

CU in the pile-ups.

Send QSL requests to my Connecticut address or W1 QSL bureau.
I do not have an address on St. Croix.

Equipment

NP2N's shack:

IC-7600
IC-756 Pro II
TS-440
AL-1200 amp. I only use it on 160M.

30ft crank-up tower
A-4 20,15,10M 3 element beam
Big Step-IR vertical
assorted wire antennas.

All antennas are normally taken down and stored when no ham visitors are there.
This is your one job when visiting!! Assemble and dis-assemble antennas.
Tropical storms eat antennas!

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
