Biography

Hello, im 54 years young and just got my tech licence in oct.2013 and just got my General march 18,2014 im hooked on this never ending hobby!! Had no idea how big this hobby was! I live in the wonderfull mountains in so. ca. Big Bear Lake Where i have lived since 1982. Im married and raised two daughters and have a 2 year old granddaughter and grandson on the way!! I'm self imployed have a pool&spa buisness that keeps me busy!Big Bear has two ski resorts called Bear Mountain/Snow Summit resorts. I don't care for the snow anymore i'v learned to hate it!!!! But we have a nice lake!!i only have to suffer 3 months out of the year!lol. I love classic motorcycles,Lionel trains,playing guitar and my new hobby ham radio! 73s Thanks for looking!Bob,KK6HUB. Equipment

Just getting going all in good time! my first rig from my CB days Sears Roadtalker 40/SSB with D104 and A99 amtron antenna,,2 Baofeng uv-5r plus with Diamond antennas,Alinco DR-150 2 meter for my base,Cushcraft 11 element beam and rotator,10 meter uniden President HR2600 with D104 and A-99 with radials for the antenna.all is powered by a Astron VS-35M. Im looking and saving up for a HF base rig can't wait!!
