Biography

Hello from Weatherford Texas

Weatherford is approximately 30 miles west of Fort worth Texas, and about 60 miles west of Dallas Texas.
My station is still a work in progress and less than a year old at the time of this posting.

Equipment

The station curently consists of the following:

1. Kenwood V71 dualband vhf/uhf with a jetstream JTPS 31 MB power supply

connected to a Comet GP6 dual band vertical mounted on a 32' telescoping mast.

2. Icom 751 HF rig with a Astron RS 35A power supply, and a Vectronics VC300DLP manual tuner

connected to a" ZS6BKW/G0GSF" G5RV made by the wireman in 1989. It was graciously given to me by a non operating ham

who ordered it and never took it out of the box it was shipped in!. It is constructed from 93' of #12 flexweave , connected to 39' of

300ohm twin lead into a 1 foot section of a BEAD BALUN which is connected to 70' og RG8/U coax.

I am currently utilizing EQSL for QSL cards and update my logs every few days.
73 to all, and look forward to many more great QSO's
