First license: 1973 in Phx, Az. (WN7VFK).
Moved to No. Carolina 1980 changed call to (KA4CZI).
Upgraded license in 1983 and call change (KF4NI)current call today.
I live in Arizona 9 months and No. Carolina summer (mid July-mid Sept.)3 months.
Married to "Kent" 47 years also a ham op. call (W4NKB).
He keeps the station on the air and I keep the mike covered. Great arrangement for ME!!!!!!
DX and Ragchewing are my main interests in ham radio.
I send paper QSL cards for DX contacts. NO SASE. IRC, $$$ needed for my card.
It is a privilege to confirm contact for having a nice qso with "friends I just have not met".
I prefer 17m or 10m if bands open. Usually I am near 18.130 or 28.490
