Welcome to my station- the name here is Chip, the QTH; Cincinnatus, a small town in central New York...

My callsign is my father's old callsign, which was granted to me in September of 2008. Any QSO's made with KD2NL before July of 2008 would have been with my father. My father had been licensed for 50+ years and loved the world of amateur radio (he had 313 countries confirmed and numerous WAS awards) - I can only hope to be as good an operator as he was.

My son Chris (14) has just upgraded to his General Class license, he has his new call, WB2IPT (his Grandfather's General call, I know the OM is smiling) ex KD2EYF, we will both be on the air, and looking forward to working the bands together.

I am a member of Chenango Valley Amateur Radio Association (www.cvara.net) and also a ARRL Volunteer Examiner...
