Biography

Only been a ham for almost two years really enjoying the hobby . Like QRP portable operations and the picture up above is an expedition i did on a local lake in my home town of Syracuse NY
I was using a buddie pole up about 16ft and a kx3 . The lake was frozen with about 1ft of ice on it. I was calling it a FLOTA [frozen lakes on the air] also do some SOTA work and plan on doing more expeditions in remote or hard to get to areas in my area this spring and summer so look for my post .
