Biography

Hi folks, I been a ham since 92. I finally got my ticket after a friend called to tell me I taking the test on sunday. I finally retired in 2018 after moving to St. Clair Missouri. This is a great location and I am working on putting up a shack out back. I got into a radio club here and the guys and gals are super. The Sullivan Amateur Radio Club. You can find us on 146.805 It a good repeater with a good range. I don't get on the air as much as I like but I try to get on when I can. Hope to see you on the radio soon.
I do qsl direct, I hope to get onto e-qsl soon also. I'll post here when that happens.
Tom

Equipment

I now have a Yaesu FT-991A for the HF work and a Yaesu FT 2980 in the truck. For the HF antenna I am using a Maxcom OCF Dipole, great antenna. I also will sometimes have a 40 Meter EFHW up.

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
