Thanks for reading my Bio. My other passion is my FAMILY!

First licensed at age Twelve. Original call KN7ERQ. Received my General class license when I was 13. advanced class at age 48. my age is 72. I have enjoyed being a Ham for 60 Years.

Primary mode of operation is CW. my favorite band is 40 Mtrs, but I do operate all bands on SSB and FM. most of my operating time is 4.00 AM to 6.00 AM and 8.00 PM to 10.00 PM. time zone... Mountain Standard Time

My antennas, K4KIO Hex Beam @ 75 Ft, 160 Mtr OCF Dipole at 72 Ft, 80 Mtr OCF Dipole at 68 Ft, 5/8 Wave vertical for 30 Mtrs. and various VHF and UHF antennas.

Not a contester. Not a DXer. Love to try new eqpt, build eqpt and try different antennas.

Married (for a LONG TIME), 9 children, 44 Grandchildren, 25 Greatgrand Children.
